After Hours Medical Assistance

If you need emergency medical assistance, dial 111. 

If you are wanting assistance but our office is closed- don’t fret!  Just dial our practice.  Your phone call will go through to the National Telehealth Service called “Whakarongarau Aotearoa” where a nurse will take the call and triage your needs and point you in the right direction.

Whakarongarau Aotearoa’s nurse triage can access the Taupo based after hours roster to see if they can get you in to a GP in Taupō.

If that is not an option and you need medical care,  Taupō Hospital’s Emergency Department is an last resort if you have exhausted all primary care offerings and have an urgent medical need.
